We engage outside entertainers and organise internal events such as quizzes and musical entertainments. We welcome local voluntary groups, school choirs and other friends of the home to entertain the patients. There are also outside trips organised such as theatre visits or Christmas shopping trips.  Suitable transport and qualified escorts are always provided for external trips but families are both welcome and encouraged to accompany their relatives.

An occupational therapist visits regularly to offer individual and group therapy including music and movement.

We are a multi-denominational Home. Patients who wish and are able may visit any local place of worship. Ministers will hold services for any patient or group of patients in a patient's room.
