Mount Olivet Nursing Home is owned by GrayAreas Ltd, based in Torbay.
Mount Olivet Nursing Home is twinned with Kingsmount Residential Home, our sister home based in the Oldway area of Paignton.
Mount Olivet boasts a large sitting room and dining room as well as a perfectly situated conservatory with uninterrupted views of the sea right across Torbay. There’s also a beautifully manicured, level garden which can be used by residents and visitors alike.
GrayAreas Ltd has owned Mount Olivet since 2001 and since then has gone through a continuous programme of improvement, including upgrading bedrooms, investing in high-tech equipment and implementing new software solutions to help bring care into the 21st century in order to concentrate on dedicating more time to providing the very best in person-centred care to all our residents. Each bedroom is thoughtfully decorated, and we encourage residents to bring items with them to help personalise the room and to help create familiarity.
In 2025, the business was taken over by care business operators Peter Angelides and John Griffiths, who also run Kingsmount Residential Home in Paignton and Devon Care & Living in Barnstaple.
Mount Olivet has a dedicated Registered Manager who is supported by a Finance and Operations Manager.
