Recent events at Mount Olivet – Christmas 2025
3rd January 2026
The festive season at Mount Olivet was filled with warmth, creativity and plenty of shared moments, as residents enjoyed a range of Christmas activities designed to bring people together and celebrate the time of year.
Throughout the weeks leading up to Christmas, residents took part in seasonal crafts, creating decorations and festive displays that added a personal touch around the home. These creative sessions are always a favourite, offering a relaxed and enjoyable way for residents to express themselves while spending time together.
Music also played a big part in the celebrations. We were delighted to welcome musical visitors who brought familiar tunes and festive melodies into the home, creating moments of joy, conversation and reflection. Music regularly forms part of life at Mount Olivet, and it was lovely to see residents engaging, listening, and reminiscing together during these special performances.
No Christmas would be complete without a little baking, and residents enjoyed getting involved in preparing seasonal treats. From mixing ingredients to tasting the finished results, these baking sessions were as much about the experience as the end product — filling the home with comforting smells and plenty of smiles.
While Christmas is a special time of year, activities like these are part of everyday life at Mount Olivet. Crafting, baking, music and social gatherings happen regularly, helping residents stay active, connected and engaged in a way that feels natural and enjoyable.
We would like to thank everyone who helped make the festive period so memorable, from visiting performers to the team who support residents every day. It was a wonderful way to end the year and look ahead to many more shared moments in the months to come.
